Ellis Glenn Moore, 84, of Cartersville Georgia, passed away on June 7, 2022 at his home.

Born on March 3, 1938, he is the son of the late Gordon Moore and the late Ollie Mae Moore. He is also preceded in death by his grandson, Johnny Moore Jr; brother, Ted Moore; and a sister, Betty Woodall.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Rachel Moore; children, Jennie Henderson and Johnny Moore Sr; step-children, Franklin Reeves, Kenneth Reeves, Steve Reeves, Glenell Sanchez, Dora Reeves, and Anne Cantrell; Ellis was a PawPaw to many.

Ellis worked at Shaw Industries for many years and retired in 2009. He loved to fish and loved his wife dearly.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, June 12, 2022 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with Doug Simmons officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Sunday prior to the service.
