Elsmar Moore

August 23, 1927 — January 21, 2009

Mrs. Elsmar Eutilla Pace Culberson Moore, age 81, of 118 Bert Road, Rome, GA died, Wednesday, January 21, 2009, at a local hospital.



Mrs. Moore was born August 23, 1927, in Paulding County, GA, the daughter of the late Robert Pace and Ada Crews Pace. She was a member of New Antioch Baptist Church in Shannon and a member of Carpenters for Christ Mission Group. Mrs. Moore retired from Dellinger�s after twenty-seven years of service. Also, she loved to travel. In addition to her parents Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by her first husband, Ervin Culberson; second husband, James Moore; three brothers, Robert L. Pace, Jr., Luther Pace, and Grady Pace; and five sisters, Elsie Lee Redden, Eunice Pace, Ethel Pace Adair, Annie Mae Storey, and Ruby Lucille Cornett.



Survivors include her three sons and a daughter-in-law, James Culberson, Wayne Culberson, and Lesley and Debbie Culberson; three daughters and sons-in-law, Elizabeth and Bob Cook, Betty and Granger Poe, and Edith and Alan Binkley; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Floydie Bragg. Several nieces and nephews also survive.



Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 24, 2009, at 1:00 P.M. in the Heritage Chapel of the McGuire, Jennings, & Miller Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Rampley and Rev. Scotty Presley officiating. Interment will follow in the Oakland Cemetery.



Mrs. Moore will remain in the Heritage Chapel of the McGuire, Jennings, & Miller Funeral Home where the family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.



The following gentlemen have been asked to serve as pallbearers and are requested to meet in the Heritage Chapel on Saturday by 12:30 P.M.: Justin Culberson, Tony Cooper, Jr., Brandon Presley, Donald Bragg, Lester Bragg, and Kyle Culberson.



The Heritage Chapel of the McGuire, Jennings, & Miller Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements for the funeral of Mrs. Elsmar Eutilla Pace Culberson Moore.
