Emily J. Crumbley, 65, of Cartersville passed away on Monday, May 14, 2007 at the Cartersville Medical Center. Born on June 29, 1941 in Blakely, Georgia where she spent her early years, Emily moved to Cartersville to raise her family. She was a bus driver for the Bartow County School System and worked in the school lunch room. Her family and her church were her life - heaven's a little richer today. She was preceded in death by her parents, Abner Jasper Johnson and Eunice Haye Johnson; her sisters, Ginny Capps and Lucy Lane; and her brother, Gene Johnson.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Sherrie and Cliff Cline; her daughter, Denise C. Curtis; her grandchildren, Kayla and Crystal Cline and Jeremy and Ashley Curtis; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill and Cecilia Johnson and L.L. and Chris Johnson; her sister and brother-in-law, Margaret and Deb Reddy; her sister-in-law, Joyce Johnson; and her brother-in-law, Howard Capps.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 17, 2007 at New Canaan Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Towe and Rev. Quillian Millsap officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens. Serving as pallbearers will be Marvin Cordell, Larry Lowe, Gerald Simpson, Wayne Hale, Daniel Cline, and Herman Redd. Pallbearers are requested to be at the church by 1:30 p.m. on Thursday.
