Emily Victoria Jenkins, of 683 Bearden Road Douglasville and formerly of Jones St in Cartersville died Thursday morning July 14, 2011 at her residence.

Mrs. Jenkins was born in Polk County, GA May 22, 1925 daughter of the late James Starling and Clifford Lewis Holland. She had been a resident of Bartow County most of her life, was a homemaker and a member of the Zion Hill Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Jenkins was preceded in death by her husband Milton Monroe Jenkins, a brother James Buford Jenkins, sons Clifford Lamar, John Henry, and Robert Wayne Jenkins and a daughter Brenda Faye Mulkey.

Survivors include sons Gordon Lee Jenkins, James Monroe Jenkins , David Earl Jenkins, Edward Eugene Jenkins, and Donald Ray Jenkins, and daughters Betty Jane Jenkins, Vicki Sue Tilley, Sheila Ann Tilley, and Tammy Stansell.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 PM Saturday July 16, 2011 in the Parnick Jennings Funeral Home Chapel with Reverends Monty Stansell and John Mulkey officiating. In accordance to Mrs. Jenkins wishes, she will be cremated after the service. The family will receive friends at the Parnick Jennings Funeral and Cremation Service Saturday from 8 AM until the service hour.
