Emma Moore

Emma Lou Moore of Cartersville, GA passed away peacefully, Thursday, May 6, 2021. She was born in Kentucky on March 7, 1941 and is the daughter of the late Vaughn and Marcie Mathis.

Survivors include her daughter, Karen (Timmy) Privette; granddaughters, Danielle (Craig) Cannon and Amber (Tony) Henson; great grandchildren, Dylan Cannon, Kayla Cannon, Carly Cannon and Mackenzie Henson; and her brother, Jimmy Mathis.

Emma was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She worked as an office manager at GMS for many years until she retired. She then worked at Dollar General and Goodwill. One of her favorite things to do was to take a good nap! She loved to go to yard sales and find treasures that she would fix up and resell.

A visitation will be held at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home on Friday, May 7, 2021 from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm.
