Eric Dwayne Leachman, 47, of Cartersville passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2020 at Cartersville Medical Center.
Born on June 15, 1972 in Cartersville he was the son of Billy Wayne Leachman and Barbara Ann Gatlin Leachman. He was preceded in death by his uncles and aunt, Jerry and Sherry Gatlin, and Johnny Holmes.
Eric was a very caring person. Being an uncle and spending time with his nieces brought him great joy. Eric enjoyed working and had been employed by Home Depot. In his spare time, he liked to try out new restaurants and was a fan of Anime.
Survivors include his parents; his stepmother, Carol Leachman; his brothers, Marc Leachman (Stephanie), and Cory Steven Leachman; his nieces, Destynee Garrison (Morgan), Rylee Leachman, Layla Leachman, and Addison Thompson; his aunts and uncles, Lisa Brock, Timmy Holmes, and Helen Sweat; and many cousins.
A memorial service will be announced at a later time.
