Mr. Ernest A. Brown, age 90, of Kingston, Ga passed away on Monday March 30th at a local hospital.
Mr. Brown was born in Bartow County on February 18, 1930. He was the son of the late Tom and Effie Brown. He was proceeded in death by two brother, C. L. Brown and Clarence Brown. He was a member of the Kingston United Methodist Church.
He was a veteran of the United States Army and served during the Korean War. Prior to retirement he was employed by Chemical Products.
Survivors include his wife Billie Brown to who he was married on March 15, 1952. One daughter, Vickie Ratliff and her husband Dennis. One Son Douglas Michael Brown and his wife, Holly. Granddaughters, Tiffany LeVerne, Heather Abercrombie, and Taylor Keith and grandsons, Douglas Brown and Donovan Brown.
Nine great grandchildren with three more great grands due in the next few months. Two sisters, Shirley Robbins and Clara Head along with one brother, Herb Brown, and several nieces and nephews.
He was very involved in the lives of his children and grandchildren. He was married to the love of his life for 68 years. He had many friends who will miss him.
Graveside services will be held April 10, 2020 with only immediate family in attendance because of the Covid 19 restrictions.
