Mrs. Eula B. Moore age 91, of Rome, GA died Thursday, October 27, 2009, at 5th Avenue Healthcare following an extended illness.
Mrs. Moore was born in Lavonia, GA on September 15, 1918, the daughter of the late General Smith and Pauline Beasley Smith. She was a member of North Rome United Methodist Church for over forty years and was a member of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Moore was a homemaker and a loving mother and grandmother. In addition to her parents Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Moore to whom she was married on June 1969; three brothers; and three sisters.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy and Michael D. Holland of Cedartown, GA and Linda and Sidney T. Highnote of Taylorsville, GA; grandchildren and their spouses, Brian and Peggy Holland of Clovis, CA, Chris and Kim Holland of Rome, Janet and Richard Eberhart of Rome, Chrissy and Wayne Fowler of Baltimore, MD, and Heather and Ryan Koch of Redmond, OR; and great-grandchildren, Levi Christain Holland of Rome, Will and Elizabeth Eberhart of Rome, Tripp Fowler of Baltimore, MD, and Georgia Anne Koch of Redmond, OR.
Graveside and interment services for Mrs. Moore will be held Thursday, October 29, 2009, at 2:00 P.M. in the Oaknoll Memorial Gardens with a grandson, Brian Holland in charge of graveside service.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 1:00 P.M. until 1:45 P.M. in the Oaknoll Chapel of the McGuire, Jennings, & Miller Funeral Home.
