Eunice Cantrell

Mrs. Eunice Gertrude Cantrell, 94, of Cartersville passed away Sunday, February 24, 2013. Born August 24, 1918 in Bartow County, she was the daughter of the late Robert Moore and the late Lena Walters. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Riley Cantrell and five brothers.
Mrs. Cantrell was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church and a resident of Cartersville Heights Health and Rehab.
Survivors include her sons, Ernest Cantrell (Dianne) of Blairsville and Earl Cantrell (Dedra) of Cartersville; her grandchildren, Adam Cantrell of Cartersville, April McMichen (John) of Cartersville, Andrea Strain (Dan) of Peachtree City and Alicia Williams (Matt) of Sandy Springs; six great-grandchildren; her sister, Emma Lou Stewart of Cartersville; her brother, Ralph Moore of Dalton; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 27, 2013 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Reverend Charles Moore officiating. Interment will follow in the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery in Kingston. The family will receive friends from 5 – 8 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.
