Miss Eunice Ardell Martin, 90, of Cartersville, died Thursday, June 4, 2015 at Townsend Park. Born on November 14, 1924 in Bartow County, she was the daughter to the late Boonie Martin and the late Linnie Belle Smith Martin.

Miss Martin was a life-long member of Zion Hill Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by sister, Gladys Martin and nephew, Ricky Abernathy.

Survivors include her sister, Emmalee Abernathy; niece, Joan (Robert) Morrow; nephew, Teddy (Terryl) Abernathy.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, June 7, 2015 at Zion Hill Baptist Church with the Reverend David Baker officiating. Miss Martin will lie in state at the church from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Interment to follow in Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday, June 6, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home.

Serving as pallbearers will be Wayne Martin, Steve Southern, Jerry Henderson, Billy Croy, Steve Wade and Corey Martin.
