Eva Corine Beaver, 81, passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at Redmond Regional Hospital. Born in Canton on March 2, 1928, she was the daughter of the late George Gibson Gayton and the late Rose Ella Earwood Gayton. She was also preceded in death by six brothers and five sisters; and her daughter, Brenda Roberson.
Eva attended Best Chapel Church and was a homemaker. She was a simple woman who nurtured her family and was always the peacemaker. She enjoyed quilting and was known for her cooking and baking. Mom�s house was always a gathering place on Sunday�s.
Survivors include her children, Larry and Jeanette Beaver of Euharlee, Pat and Lamar Hamrick of Calhoun, Carlos Beaver of Cartersville, Karen and Doug Kirby of Rydal, Tammy Mathison, and Cliff Roberson, both of Cartersville; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren with two on the way; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 22, 2009 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Rev. Rena Evans and Rev. Michael Abernathy officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 � 9 p.m. on Thursday at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 430 Cassville Road, Cartersville, GA 30120.
