Evelyn Hibberts

Evelyn Doris (Dot) Hibberts, 85, of Cartersville Georgia, passed away on June 20, 2023, at Cartersville Medical Center. She was born in Fairmount Georgia on August 7, 1937, to the late Homer Jack Crider and the late Ruth Ellen Crider.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Troy Everette Hibberts; son, Tony Elton Hibberts; granddaughters, Synetta Rochelle Hibberts and Lexie Grace Hibberts; her sister-in-law, Evelyn Cooper; and her brother-in-law, Walter Mize.

Survivors include her children, Janieth Muse (Lonnie Smith), Glenn Hibberts (Sharon), Susan Hendrix (Danny), and Randall Hibberts (Kim); her sister, Wanda Mize; several nieces and nephews; sixteen grandchildren; thirty-five great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.

Dot ran Hibbert's Cabinet Shop until a short time before her health began to fail. She was an absolutely wonderful cook and invited everyone to her table to eat any time of any day. She was strong-willed and could do anything she set her mind to.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, June 23, 2023, in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with Reverend Ernest Channell and Reverend Sammy Burgess officiating. Burial will follow in the New Hope Cemetery in Ranger. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, June 22, 2023, at the funeral home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jarrett Hibberts, Justin Hibberts, Landon Howren, Jerry Eller, Samson Johnston, and William Pickel. Honorary pallbearers will be Arnie Brown and Ed Anderson.
