Farrell Hice

Mr. Farrell T. Hice, age 72, of Rome, GA died Saturday, August 29, 2009.



Mr. Hice was born in Floyd County, GA on December 26, 1936, the son of the late Olden and Della Hice. He was a member of the North Rome Church of God and retired as a carpenter.



Survivors include a son, Larry Hice; two step-children, Dyane Kelly and Jean Kelly; three grandchildren, Christy, Misty and Heather Sprayberry; one great-grandchild; two brothers, Laddell Hice and Robert Hice; and a sister, Betty Priest.



A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, August 31, 2009, at 2:00 P.M. in the Heritage Chapel of the McGuire, Jennings, & Miller Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Blue Pond Baptist Church Cemetery.



The family will receive friends Sunday from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. in the Heritage Chapel of the McGuire, Jennings, & Miller Funeral Home.



The following gentlemen have been asked to serve as pallbearers and are requested to meet in the Heritage Chapel by 1:30 P.M. on Monday: Anthony Hice, Howard Tyler, Gene Kelley, George Rogers, Raymond Tate, and Homer Hice.
