Florence Wynn

Florence "Maggie" Wynn, 89 of Calhoun passed away Friday June 25, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Maggie was born February 18, 1932 in Rome, Georgia to the late Wiley and Betty Bennett. She was also preceded in death by her husband John Wynn, her son Lamar Wynn, and her siblings Bell Rogers, Marcus, W.L., and Robert Bennett.

She retired from the Bartow County School System having a fulfilling role working in the lunchroom.

Survivors include her daughter Gail (Bruce) Ross; her son Jimmy Wynn; her grandchildren Adam Wynn, Matthew (Kayleigh) Wynn, Marcus (Jesse) Rogers, Jason (Tara) Wynn, Amy (Mitch) Williams, Michael (Michelle) Parker, Jessica (Adam) Martin, Daniel Clark and Beau Ross; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; her siblings, Juanita (Charles) Massey, John (Ellen) Bennett, and Ann Gray, and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside funeral service will be held Tuesday June 29, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Sunset Memory Gardens with the Rev. David Bennett officiating. Entombment will follow. The family will receive friends at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home on Monday June 28, 2021 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. Serving as pallbearers will be Adam, Matthew, and Jason Wynn, Michael Parker, Marcus Rogers and Daniel Clark.
