Frances Akins

Mrs. Frances Lucille Akins, 82, of Cartersville passed away Tuesday, June 17, 2008 at her residence. Born August 9, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Harper Cooper and the late Rosetta Watkins Cooper. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Akins; her brother, Seward Cooper; and her sister, Lillian Cooper.

Mrs. Akins was a homemaker during her life. She loved her family and most of all cooking for them. She was of Baptist faith.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law Guy and Elizabeth Boucher, Frederick and Sharon Boucher, Thomas and Pamela Boucher, Gary and Carol Boucher, and Kenneth Boucher; her daughter, Rosetta Gainy; her brothers, Olen Cooper and Eugene Cooper; her sister, Nell McIntyre; and seventeen grandchildren.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 13 in Cassville Cemetery with the Rev. Bill Watson officiating.
