Frances "Frank" Lee Martin, age 92, of Cartersville, Georgia, sadly passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2024.
Born on October 24, 1931 in Cartersville, she was the daughter of the late Horace J. McDaniel and Aline G. McDaniel. She is also preceded in death by her husband Clifford Martin; her son Kelly Walter Martin; and her sister Jean "Willie Jean" McDaniel Whitmire.
Frances is survived by her granddaughter Casey Westbrooks (Brent); her grandson Lamar Weldon; her great-grandson Triston Berryhill; a special nephew Johnny Martin; as well as several other nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members.
Frances was always very spontaneous. Her family described her as a spitfire, and they never knew what she might say. She enjoyed bowling, Bingo, and playing softball. She loved her family dearly and she will be very missed.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 3, 2024, at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home, with Pastor Mark Harris officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 3, 2024, for a short visitation prior to the service. She will be inurned at Oak Hill Cemetery next to her son at a later date.
