On Wednesday, January 26, 2022, Frances Mitchell Phillips passed away at home surrounded by her family.
Born in Cartersville on October 27, 1934, she was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Johnny L. Phillips.
She is survived by her children, Roger Phillips, Debbie Sue Phipps, Janice Cumbee, Angela Dial, Tammie Young, and their spouses; as well 12 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and 2 siblings.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, January 31, 2022, at Creekside Fellowship Church located at 585 Old Alabama Road in Cartersville, Georgia 30120 with Pastors Keith Woods, and Michael Abernathy officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Sunday, January 30, 2022, at the funeral home.
