Frank Martinez, Jr.

Frank Martinez Jr., 60, of Cartersville passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at his residence. Born in Sinton, Texas on June 1, 1949, he was the son of the late Frank Martinez Sr. and the late Eva Alasa Martinez. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Oscar Martinez.



Frank was a member of Faith United Methodist Church. He enjoyed fishing and watching television, and he had a great love for animals. Frank was a self- employed tile setter.



Survivors include his wife of sixteen years, Kandi Martinez of Cartersville; his children, Frank Martinez III of Canton, Georgia , Michelle Bradberry of Ashville, Alabama, Jimmy Martinez of Valdosta, Georgia, Kim McIntosh of Carrollton, Georgia, William Martinez of Dallas, Georgia, Sharon Lingerfelt of Roanoke, Alabama, Paul Ratliffe of Temple, Georgia, Susan Ratliffe of Cartersville, and Marquita Pinkerton of Arlington, Texas; and sixteen grandchildren.



A memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 19, 2010 at Faith United Methodist Church with Rev. Bruce Bunten and Chaplain Michael Jones officiating.
