Mr. Frank E. McGill, 61, of Cartersville, died Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at Cartersville Medical Center following a lengthy illness. Born in Cleveland, Tennessee, May 21, 1950, he was the son of Juanita Renslow McGill and the late Clarence Edward McGill.
Frank was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church and was retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy Brock McGill; his mother, Juanita McGill; his sons and daughters-in-law, Chad and Shauna McGill and Britt and Holley McGill; his daughter and son-in-law, Shelly and Kelly Abernathy; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Joey and Libby McGill and Jay and Karen McGill; his sisters and brother-in-law, Mary and Ben Collins and Regina Haney; his grandchildren, Camden, Seth and Brock McGill, Griffin and Tate McGill and Stuart and Kiley Abernathy; his father-in-law, Clarence Brock, Sr.; his sisters �in-law and brothers-in-law, Wanda and Danny Chatman, Lynne and Ronnie Brock, Sandy Evans and Clarence and Carla Brock.
Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 p.m., Friday, March 2, 2012 at Zion Hill Baptist Church with Reverend David Baker, Reverend Earl Abernathy and Reverend Crawford Greeson officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jeffrey and Steven Chatman, Forrest Leachman, Colby Evans, Matt Brock, Chris and Travis Collins, Phil Summey and Nick Wade.
The family will receive friends from 5 � 9 p.m. Thursday at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 430 Cassville Road, Cartersville.
