Frankie Lee

Mrs. Frankie Lee, 81, of Cartersville, passed away Monday, March 24, 2014 at Cartersville Medical Center.
Mrs. Lee was born October 30, 1932 in Atlanta and was the daughter of the late Homer Leon Cooper and the late Margie Seals Cooper. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Albert Henry Lee; her sister, Grace Dover; and her brother, Stephen L. Cooper.
Frankie was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Acworth and was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a Godly woman and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and reading. She always saw something good in everybody.
Survivors include her daughter, Cathy Shepherd (Anthony) of Cartersville; her sons, Steve Lee (Barbara) of Huntsville, TX, Rickey Lee (Pam) of Douglasville and Bill Lee (Pam) of Cartersville; thirteen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 27, 2014 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with The Reverend Rex Cox officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Lee will be carried to the church on Thursday to lie-in-state for one hour prior to the service. The family will receive friends from 5 – 8 p.m. Wednesday at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
