Fred Bagwell

Fred W. Bagwell, 77, of Cartersville passed Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at the Cartersville Heights Care & Rehab. Born in Pelzer, South Carolina on January 29, 1933, he was the son of the late Thomas Wilton Bagwell and the late Eunice Ida Trotter Bagwell.



Mr. Bagwell had been employed by J.P. Stevens for 40 years. Following his retirement from J.P. Stevens, he went to work as a hospital security guard in Greenville, SC. He was also a veteran of the United States Army and served during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Bagwell had also been a resident of Autumn Years Assisted Living Center in Cartersville.



Funeral services will be conducted by Gray Mortuary in Pelzer, South Carolina. Burial will take place in the Shiloh United Methodist Church Cemetery in Piedmont, South Carolina.
