Gail Brown

Miss Gail Anne Brown, special child of the late Irene Ford Brown and Howard Brown, left this earth on November 15, 2014. Gail was born July 8, 1940 in Winston Salem, NC. Her last residence was Townsend Park Nursing Home in Cartersville, Ga.
Lifelong friends of Gail are Delores Romanick of Newport News, VA and Regina Chapman of Columbus, Ga. Preceding Gail in death were a niece and nephew, Joey Lawrence and Kim Alls. Kim was especially dedicated to Gail and spent much time socializing with and helping Gail.
She is also survived by her two sisters, Betty Jo Vincent of Hartsville, SC and Bobbie Lester of Cartersville. Two special nieces also survive: Mandy Batchelor of Loganville, GA and Lorrie Hampson of Port St. Lucie, FL. Lorrie had an especially close relationship with Gail and spent much time taking her shopping and helping her in various ways.
No funeral will be held. Because Gail had an immense love for mountains, her ashes will be strewn to the wind from a mountain top by her sister, Bobbie, and niece, Lorrie. Gail will finally be able to see her mama again in heaven.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to any organization which advocates for the mentally challenged.
