Garry Moore

Garry Robert Moore, 59, of Cartersville went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 15, 2011 at his residence. Born June 21, 1951 in Cleveland, Ohio on June 21, 1951, he was the son of Joan Richner and the late Robert E. Moore. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Robert �Bobby� Moore.



Garry worked in the pool and spa business for many years and was the owner and operator of Garry�s Pool and Spa. An avid fisherman, he was a guide on Allatoona Lake and Lake Lanier. Garry was also a great husband and father. He loved his family very much and he will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends.



Survivors include his wife of thirty-three years, Glenda Dunaway Moore; his son, Hunter Robert Moore; his daughter and son-in-law, Heather and Brian Cook; his mother and step-father, Joan and Clyde Richner; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, George and Marie Dunaway; his sister and brother-in-law, Jan and Charles Mathis; his brother-in-law and his fianc�, Joe Dunaway and Sheri Coley; his niece and her family, Michelle and Mike Wilson, Tyler, Cole, and Gracie; his nephew and his family, Doug and Kristen Mathis, Jacob, and Kendall; and his special friend, Charlie Iamonico.



Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 18, 2011 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with the Rev. Marc Curlee officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens.



Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Wilson, Doug Mathis, Brady Frasier, Matt Johnson, Chris Kennedy, and Clay Tzoucalis. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Daryl Morris and Woody Malone. These gentlemen are asked to be at the funeral home by 11:15 a.m. on Tuesday.



In lieu of flowers those desiring may make memorial contributions to Garry�s family.



The family will receive friends from 5 � 8 p.m. on Monday at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 430 Cassville Rd., Cartersville, GA 30120.
