Garry Thomas

Garry Lynn Thomas, 41, of 1400 Joe Frank Harris Pkwy., Cartersville passed away on Tuesday, May 22, 2007. Born on October 3, 1965 in Detroit, Michigan, Garry was the son of the late Sanders and Eula Thomas and was employed by Wal Mart. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Earl Lee Thomas.

Survivors include his brothers, Tommy Thomas and Ricky Thomas, both of Cartersville; his grandmother, Goldie King of Cartersville; his aunt, Sarah Akers of Cartersville; his cousin, Lisa Stratton of Cartersville; his nieces and nephews, Kristy Thomas, Rebecca Adkins, Tommy Thomas Jr., Miranda Odum, Lexi Thomas, and Austin Thomas; and several other aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 26, 2007 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Rev. Max Maybern officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Cartersville.

The family will receive friends from 6 – 9 p.m. on Thursday and Friday at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
