Gary went to be with Jesus after a prolonged illness in Golden Rehabilitation Center of Marietta, Georgia on May 31, 2015. Gary, a resident of Cartersville, Georgia, a former native of Jacksonville, FL.
Gary is survived by his wife Rita of 40 years and son John of Cartersville, Georgia; his parents, George and Ethel Palmer of Middleburg, Florida; two sisters, Barbara Palmer Martin (Charles) of Atlantic Beach, Florida; Brenda Kirkland (Robert) of Perry, Florida; and brother, Jeff Palmer of Broxton, Georgia; five grandchildren, Crystal; Natalie; Jeff; LJ and Karly. As well as several nieces and nephews. Gary was preceded in death by his son Jeff.
His biker friends called him "Big G" and have plans for a Memorial Run and Celebration of Life on June 27, 2015, kickstands up at 1:00 PM beginning at "Trike" Mike Harmon's 32 Montgomery St. Cartersville, GA.
Gary was best known for being a Loving and Kind "Good Samaritan" and will be loved and missed by all.
