Genelma Logan

Mrs. Genelma Sue Reed Logan of Rome, GA, died Sunday, June 13, 2010 in a local hospital.



Mrs. Logan was born in Cherokee County, AL on July 31, 1927, the daughter of the late Thomas Henry Reed and Evie Mae Smith Reed. In addition to her parents Mrs. Logan was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Logan on January 5, 2000 to whom she was married on February 9, 1946; a daughter, Alice Logan Rosser, July 27, 2004; a sister, Evlyn Neyman; and a brother, Pete Reed.



Survivors include two sons, Danny Logan and Ray Logan both of Rome, GA; two brothers, Hobart Reed of Centre, AL and Garvis Reed of Rome, GA; grandchildren, Wendy Patrick of Rome, Misty Mills (Jeremy) of Cave Spring, GA, Jennifer Helms (Tad) of Rome, Beth Lloyd (Wayne) of Rome, Benji Logan of Rome, and great-grandchildren, Jake and Savannah Patrick, Justin and Drew Mills, Emma Raye, Porter Helms, and Luke Lloyd. Several nieces and nephews also survive.



Graveside and interment services will be held Wednesday, June 16, 2010, at 11:00 A.M. in the Oaknoll Memorial Gardens with Rev. Randy Lambert officiating.



The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. in the Oaknoll Chapel.
