Geneva Langley

Geneva Langley, 68, of Cartersville passed away Sunday, October 17, 2010 at the Northside Hospital in Atlanta following a brief illness. Born in Duluth, Georgia on February 15, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Melvin McPherson and the late Ruby Howell McPherson.



Mrs. Langley resided in the Chamblee area most of her life and was a housewife. She was loved dearly by her family and will be missed greatly. She was also a member of Young Street Baptist Church.



Survivors include her husband of forty-nine years, Joseph C. Langley; two daughters and son-in-law, JoAnn and J.R. Gibson of Doraville and Bobbie White of Cartersville; four sons, Joseph Langley, Stoney Langley, Stacey Langley, and David Langley; and eleven grandchildren.



A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at Young Street Baptist Church.
