George Sisk

George Edward Sisk, 84, of Adairsville Georgia, passed away on January 9, 2022, at his residence.

Born on July 31, 1937, he is the son of the late Buster Sisk and the late Rose Sisk. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Sisk; and his siblings, Jerry Sisk and Mary Ann Norton.

Survivors include his children, Barry & Susan Sisk, Denise Keith, and Chris Sisk; grandchildren, Zachary & Bridgett Sisk, Abigail & Chris Hill, Joshua Sisk, Kelsea & Perry Fryer, Santana Baker, David Stidham, Brianna & Rodney Singleton, David Keith, and Krystal Broom; great-grandchildren, Kinsley, Mia, Rayne, Brayden, Dalton, Jeremiah, Hannah, Bre, Destiny, Lily, and T.J.; sister Margie (Ross) Clements; and sister-in-law Mary Katherine Sisk.

George loved the Lord and his family unconditionally and was committed faithfully to both. He was described as a good, godly man and servant of the Lord by his family and peers. He truly enjoyed his job at GA. DOT where he worked for 33 years.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, January 14, 2022 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home & Cremation services with Pastor Burnan Hall and Reverend Mark Lee officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Valley Full Bible Church. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at the funeral home.
Serving as pallbearers will be David Keith, Zachary Sisk, Joshua Sisk, David Stidham, Chris Hill, and Perry Fryer.
