Gerald Ray "Jerry" House, age 21, of 18 Southern Woods Drive, Armuchee, GA, died Thursday evening, July 22, 2004, in Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga, TN.Jerry was born in Rome and Floyd County on March 20, 1983, the son of Kelly Yvonne Fosha House Meeks and James Wilton House. He was a 2000 graduate of Armuchee High School where he played baseball and was a member of the cross country track team. Jerry enjoyed trout fishing, music, video games and hanging with friends. He will be remembered as a wonderful son, brother and friend with a great personality and big heart.Jerry is survived by his mother and step-father, Kelly Yvonne and Tracy Meeks of Blue Ridge, GA; father and step-mother, James and Sandee House of Armuchee; one sister, Savannah House; two brothers, Carl Meeks and Bryant Meeks; maternal grandmother, Lorraine Harris of Blackshear, GA; maternal grandfather, Kent Fosha of Lafayette, GA; maternal great-grandmother, Muriel Fosha of Jerseyville, IL; paternal step-grandmother, Billie Joe Sisson of Rome; paternal great-grandmother, Julia McCullough of Rome.Funeral services for Jerry will be held on Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. in the Heritage Chapel of the Jennings Funeral Home with Mr. Richard Everett officiating. Interment will follow in the East View Cemetery.Jerry will lie in-state at the Heritage Chapel of the Jennings Funeral Home where the family will receive friends this (Saturday) evening from 6 until 8 p.m.Pallbearers are asked to meet at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon by 1:30 p.m. and include Cal Meeks, Bryant Meeks, Aaron Akins, Dennis Burg, B.J.
