Gerald Nelson Jones, 66, of Cartersville passed away Friday, January 1, 2010 at the Cartersville Medical Center. Born December 31, 1943, he was the son of the late Walton Jones and the late Beulah Smalley Jones.
Survivors include his daughters, Terrie Jones and her fiance, Todd Hale, and Sharon Jones and her partner, Angel Mulkey; the mother of his daughters, Jeanette Collins Jones; his sister, Gaynell Poole; his niece Lynn Gore; and his nephew, Brian Poole.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 4, 2010 in Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Ronald Gore officiating. The family will receive friends at the cemetery one hour prior to the service.
