Geraldine Carson

Mrs. Geraldine Carson, 87, of Cartersville, widow of the late W. R. Carson, died Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at her residence.

Born May 5, 1931 in Fairmount, she was a daughter of the late Arthur Nichelson and the late Ruby Mae Burgess Nichelson. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Elmer Nichelson. Mrs. Carson loved the Lord and attending church at The Church at Liberty Square. She loved her family unconditionally and enjoyed walking and taking day trips with her close friends.

Survivors include her sister, Christine Boswell (Charlie) of Cartersville; nieces, Debra Mullinax of Euharlee, Connie Jennings (Larry) of White, Kristine Nichelson Everett (Christopher) of Ranger, Candy Smith (Randy) of Farimount, and Misty Dixon, also of Fairmount; nephews, Eddie Boswell (Vickie) of Cartersville, David Boswell (Alisha) of Adairsville, and Shane Sheldon (Joyce) of Dallas; great-nieces, Candis Carroll (Lance) of Cartersville, Rekay Clark of Cartersville, Dee Dee Jackson (Sam) of Farimount, and Alisha Boswell of Adairsville; great-nephews, Coty Mullinax of Euharlee, Adam Jennings (Sarah) of Euharlee, and Bruce Jennings (Jennifer) of Cartersville; and a number of great-great-nieces and nephews, cousins, and other relatives.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 10, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with The Reverend Jackie Wilkie officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 9, 2018 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Eddie Boswell, David Boswell, LaDarius Clark, Sam Jackson, Adam Jennings, and Lance Carroll.
