Mrs. Geraldine Hammons, 63, of Cartersville, died Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013 at Cartersville Medical Center. A native of Bartow County, born on June 26, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Claude Overby and the late Lila Mary Jane Nowland.
Survivors include her son, Ray Brown of Cartersville; her daughter, Glenda Nichols of Gainsville; her grandchildren, Savannah Brown of Cartersville and Jason Yancey of Plant City, Florida.
