Geraldine Rice

Mrs. Osie Geraldine Thompson Rice, 90, of Cartersville, died on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at Cartersville Medical Center. She was born in Raymond, Ohio on March 25, 1926 and was the daughter of the late Harry Thompson and Edna Lash Thompson.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Carl D. Rice; her sons, Timothy Emmert, Dennis Emmert and John Emmert; and great-grandson, Kenneth Lee Smith.

Survivors include her daughter, Johnna Otis (Timothy); her grandchildren, Robert Stiner, Jr., Bradley Stiner, Stacy Rogers (Brian) and Chanda Bennett; her great-grandchildren, Heidi Lipscomb (Steven), Travis Rogers, Brian Rogers, Brandon Bennett and Austin Bennett; her great-great-grandchildren, Nathan and Kaitlyn Lipscomb; her sisters, JoAnn Armentrout, Becky Stermer (Richard), Carole Anne Blaine and Sally Montgomery (Clyde); along with several nieces and nephews.
