Gillie Arther

Mrs. Gillie Ann Arther, age 84, of Rome, GA, died Monday, October 19, 2009 in a Rome hospital.



Mrs. Arther wasd born in Belleville, Illinois on September 29, 1925. Prior to retirement Mrs. Arther was employed as a licensed practical nurse with Floyd Hospital. She was a member of Little Flock Baptist Church. In addition to her parents Mrs. Arther was

preceded in death by her husband, Wilber Arther, a brother, J.W. Pollard and two sisters, Vivian Mason and Lillian Smith.



Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Debra and Bruce White of Coosa, GA; grandchildren, Jennifer Williams of Summerville, GA and James Wilbur Hardin of Centre, AL.



A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Arther will be held Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at 7:00 P.M. in the Oaknoll Chapel of the McGuire, Jennings and Miller Funeral Home.
