Glen Hall

Mr. Glen Wood Hall, 85, passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2020 at his home in Jasper.

Born on June 10, 1934 in Virginia he was the son of the late George Sherman Hall and the late Nannie King Hall. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Betty Brock Hall; and his daughters, Deborah McBee, and Sherry Pettigrew.

Glen was a hard worker working as a carpenter until his retirement. He enjoyed hunting, gardening, and caring for horses and mules. Glen was a friend to everyone and will always be remembered for being a wonderful Daddy.

Survivors include his children, Kenneth McBee (Darla), William McBee, Randy McBee (Pam), Danny Hall, Kathy Salyer (Clyde), Karen Mata (Ross), Roy Hall (Sherry), and David Hall (Lisa); several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and many many special friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Reverend Greg Long and Reverend Rodney King officiating. Burial will follow in Etowah Valley Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Serving as pallbearers will be Dilion Hall, Austin Hall, Roy Salyer, Jamie McBee, Chuck Prather and Jason Hall. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Gary Swann, Rocky Glancies, and Mark Pack.
