Glenda Freeman

Glenda Dale Freeman, 70, of Adairsville passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2023, at her residence.

Born on July 30, 1952, in Cartersville, she was the daughter of the late Allen Townsend and the late Dolly Murphy Townsend. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, James Michael Freeman; her grandson, Dustin Freeman; and her sisters, Linda Jones, and Pamela Lee.

Survivors include her children, Mike Freeman, Jr. & his fiancé, Jennifer Willoughby, Renee Freeman, and Shelby Barrett & her husband, Brett; special grandson, Chris Freeman as well as her other grandchildren, Victoria Payne, Carrie Barton, Karisa Neal, Jordynn Freeman, and Lily Freeman; several great-grandchildren; her brother, Roger Townsend & his wife, Missy; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with Pastor David Roach officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel UMC Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Monday, April 10, 2023, at the funeral home.

Serving as pallbearers will be Joshua Bray, Hayden Bray, Hunter Hilburn, Victoria Payne, Jordynn Freeman, and David Jones.
