Glenda Moore

Mrs. Glenda Joyce Moore, 57, of Cartersville passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at Cartersville Medical Center. A native of Bartow County, she was born May 26, 1955, the daughter of Marie Greenway-Dunaway and George Dunaway. Preceding her in death are her husband, Garry Moore; her grandparents, Agnes and Rev. Bethel Greenway; her father-in-law, Garry Robert Moore; and her brother-in-law, Bobby Moore.

Glenda was a member of Atco Baptist Church and was a registered nurse for 35 years. She was an inspiration to many people through her faith in God and caring for everyone in need. She loved to take trips to the beach with her children where she felt closest to God and his beautiful creations. She had a faithful dog and companion, Roxie, whom she loved with all her heart as well as grand dogs, Cohen and Aggie.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Heather Moore-Cook and Brian Cook; her son, Hunter Robert Moore; her mother and father Marie Greenway-Dunaway and George Dunaway; her sister and brother-in law, Jan and Charles Mathis; her brother, Joe Dunaway and Fiance�, Sheri Coley; her aunts and uncles, Sue and �Fuzz� Cornett, Mary Latham, Margaret Dunaway, John and Pat Greenway, many special nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members along with special friend and caregivers, Joann Stemper and Daryl Morris.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 28, 2012, in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Rev. Charles Ivey and Rev. Mark Curlee officiating along with special memories shared by her children. Interment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens.

Serving as pallbearers will be Chris Kennedy, Brady Frasier, Matt Johnson, Michael Wilson, Tyler Wilson and Ricky Casko. Cole Wilson will serve as honorary pallbearer.

The family received friends from 5 � 9 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home.
