Gloria Jean "Jane" Tuten, 83, of Cartersville passed away on Monday, September 30, 2024, at her residence.
Born on June 11, 1941, she was the daughter of the late William Baker, Sr. and the late Nona Roseman Baker. She is also preceded in death by her sisters, Geraldine Grantham and Doris Elizabeth Sheppherd.
Jane was the vice president and co-founder of Immanuel Broadcasting Network. She did a lot of counseling work, and she served as the church secretary for many years at Cartersville Church of God.
Survivors include her loving husband, Ed Tuten; children, Denise Barnette (Brian) and Howard Tuten (Shannon); grandchildren, Drew Barnette, Jon Barnette, and Krissa Gustin (Nick); great grandchildren, Adalee Jane Gustin, Brantley Gustin, and Colt Gustin; brothers, William Baker, Jr. and Johnny Baker; and sisters, Patricia Anne Baker and Mary Shannon.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home. The service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Parnick Jennings Chapel with Patrick Miller and James Black officiating. Burial will be held at Georgia National Cemetery on Monday, October 7, 2024 at 2:00 p.m.
