Mrs. Gloria Faye Long Ward, 58, of Cartersville, died Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at Cartersville Heights.
Gloria was born October 6, 1954 in Oak Grove, Louisiana; she was a daughter of the late Gordon Long and the late Iva Pool Long Robinson. She was of the Christian Faith and loved spending time with her grandchildren. Gloria loved to watch TV, especially the Golden Girls. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Bobby Ward, Jr. and a granddaughter, Abbygail Durden.
Survivors include her husband, Bobby Ward; sons, Michael Campbell and Johnny Williams, both of Cartersville; daughters, Donie Boyd of Denham Springs, LA, and Lori Pittman and her husband Joseph, of Cartersville; brother, Fred Robinson, III of Bastrop, LA; sisters, Freda Hodges of Denham, LA, Sheila Flannigan, Renee Naff, and Mamie Robinson, all of Bastrop; grandchildren, Erric Pittman, Evan Pittman, Dakota Campbell, Alexus Campbell, Jason Durden, Arin Boyd Durden, Joshua Durden, and Stormy Boyd Durden.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 13, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with The Reverend Frank Reed officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, one hour prior to the service.
