Gordon Bohannon

Mr. Gordon Lee Bohannon, 80, passed away on Monday, January 31, 2022, at Piedmont Cartersville Medical Center.
He was born to the late Jesse Bohannon and the late Leona Andrews on April 29, 1941, in Bartow County.
Mr. Bohannon was a member of Center Baptist Church. He was a loving man, and he dearly loved his family and friends. Mr. Bohannon worked for New Riverside where he stayed until his retirement. Mr. Bohannon was a one-of-a-kind man who enjoyed life, hunting and fishing. He never met a stranger or judged anyone. He found the good in everyone he met.
In addition to his parents Mr.Bohannon was preceded in death by brothers, Henry Bohannon, Stud Bohannon, Frank Bohannon, Robert Bohannon, Arthur Bohannon, Floyd Bohannon, Lloyd Bohannon, Dave Bohannon, and Roy Bohannon; and his sisters, Mary Franklin and Lorettta Bohannon.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Janice Bohannon; his children and their spouses, Robert Bohannon and Megan Ferguson, Pamela Manning and Clifford Manning, Jesse Bohannon, and Tiffany Bohannon; his sister, Juanita Kilgore, 15 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, February 7, 2022, at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, in the chapel of the funeral home with Reverend Jeff Martin & Joey Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in Center Baptist Church Cemetery.
Serving as Pallbearers will be Jesse Lee Bohannon, Brandon Bohannon, Charles Manning, Josh Manning, Charles Brandenburg, and Sean Witherspoon.
