Gregory Ray

Gregory Charles Ray, 42, of 72 Massell Dr. Cartersville, passed away on Saturday June 23, 2007 at Cartersville Medical Center. He was the son of Charles and Christine Ray. Greg enjoyed working as a Cub Scout leader as well as having an interest in photography, hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his daughter, Jennifer Ray, sons Timothy Ray and Christopher McClure, his parents Charles and Christine Ray, his sisters Lynnda C. Ray, Cynthia White and her fiancé Michael Wheeler, his aunts Shirley Laviolett and her husband Camille, Ann Perrenoud and her husband Bob, his uncles Jack Ray and his wife Jackie, Roy Gibson and his wife Barbara as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Greg was preceded in death by his grandparents Elmer and Alma Ray and Arthur and Eura Gibson.

Funeral services were conducted Tuesday June 26, 2007 at 11:00 am in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with the Reverend I. L. Smith Jr. officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Traci Childers, Shawn Childers, Gary May, Camille Laviolett and Mike Wheeler.
