Greyson Ghorley Wood

Greyson Andrew Ghorley Wood passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at 1:00 a.m. Baby Greyson was born Tuesday, April 26, 2022 in Cartersville, Ga, to Alexis Cheyenne Ghorley and Bryan Andrew Wood.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother Lukas Bryan Wood; maternal grandparents Kirk and Brandy Ghorley of Kingston, Christy (Jesse) Ramirez of Cartersville, Randall (Hayleigh) Wood of Cartersville; maternal great-grandparents Karen Freeman of Taylorsville and Jackie (Robert) Brown of Cartersville; paternal great-grandparents Bobby (Carol) Elrod of Taylorsville and Cheryl Bryson of Pennsylvania; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Greyson was preceded in death by Lewis Freeman, Joe Windiate, Jim Ghorley, Steve Ghorley, C.W. Wood, and BettyJoe Wood.

Serving as pallbearers are Christopher Ghorley and Jacab Ramirez. Honorary pallbearers are Randall Wood, Lukas Wood, and Jesse Ramirez.

Visitation will be held at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home on Monday May 2, 2022 from 12:30-1:30p.m. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday May 2, 2022 at 2:00 p.m with Minister Bryan Silvers officiating. Internment at Canaan Land Church Cemetery in Adairsville will follow after the service.
