Harry Cornett

Harry Hugh Cornett, 79, of Cartersville, GA, peacefully passed away at home, Thursday, May 5, 2022, surrounded by his family. Born on December 1, 1942, in Cartersville, GA he was the son of the late Elisha Van Buren Cornett and Agnes Izola Cornett. He is also preceded in death by his wife Laverne Cornett.

Survivors include his children Tim Cornett, Todd Cornett, Tammy Driver, and Melanie Cornett; grandchildren Kristen, Kaitlin, Justin, Trent, Anna, and Kelsey; great grandchildren Kamden and Jaxson; brother James Cornett (Cecil); sisters Gail Payne, Madelyn Sliegh, and Brenda Nix (Joe).

Harry loved the Lord with all his heart. He was a member of David Street Church of God. He was an amazing father and Pop. He was very funny, he always made everyone laugh. Harry served his country and his kids with love and honor!

A memorial service will be held at David Street Church of God, on Sunday, May 15, 2022, at 3:00 pm, with Pastor Doug Vernon officiating.
