Hattie Lucille Nelson Cowart
Mrs. Lucille Cowart age 90, of Cassville, passed away at Maple Ridge Healthcare Center in Cartersville, Georgia on Sunday, April 5, 2020.
Born in Cassville, Georgia on August 10, 1929. Mrs. Cowart was the daughter of the late Charlie Shook and Annie Smith Shook.
Mrs. Cowart was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Cartersville.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husbands Eugene Nelson and Roy Cowart; her sister Frances (U.Z.) Cowart; Brothers Charles (Margaret) Shook, David (Helen) Shook and Ernest Shook.
Survivors include her daughter Margaret and son-in-law Billy Chandler of Cassville; grandson Bill (Jamie) Chandler; two great grandsons Will and Joseph Chandler of Cartersville; two brothers Tommy (Diane) Shook of Cassville and Daniel (Marion) Shook of White; and a number of nieces and nephews.
