Cartersville

Hayley Denise Edens, 33 of Cartersville, went home on June 23, 2026. She was born on May 9, 1993 in Cartersville to her loving parents, William Edens and Charmon Dover Edens. She is reunited with her cousin, Chris Day, whom she shared a special bond with.

Hayley was a fun-loving person who had a way of making everyone around her laugh. She could light up any room she entered with her smile, her sense of humor, and her unique spirit. Hayley lived life on her own terms, standing firm in her beliefs and always marching to the beat of her own drum.

She had a special love for her cats, Korbin and Callie, and enjoyed spending time at the lake and taking trips with her partner and best friend, Joy, as well as racing go carts. Hayley loved people without judgment and accepted others just as they were.

As the only child of her loving parents, she was truly the apple of their eye. While Hayley could be a reserved person, she never left anyone guessing where they stood with her. If she liked you, you knew it, and if she didn’t, you knew that too. Her honesty, loyalty, and authenticity were just a few of the qualities that made her so special.

Left to celebrate her legacy is her parents, William and Charmon Edens; her significant other Joy Taylor; aunts Sheri Nierling and Pam Hoffman; uncle Greg Dover; cousins Bree Dover, Joy Higginbotham, Sierra Crow, Casey Boston, Shayla Weaver, Noah Weaver, Will Gillespie, Taylor Day, Kate Carter, Peyton Day, Allie Day, Lawson Day, Gavin Day, and Aydan Johnson that she shared a special bond with.

Hayley leaves behind countless memories that will be cherished forever by her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Her memory will live on in the hearts of everyone whose life she touched. ❤️
