Herbert Craft

Herbert Hoover Craft, 91, of Cartersville, passed away on Friday, December 27, 2019 at Townsend Park Health and Rehabilitation Center. Born on November 6, 1928 in Iron City, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Ed Craft and Ida Curtis Craft.

Mr. Craft was a member of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church and owner/operator of Craft Motors. Survivors include his wife, Helen Smith Craft; his daughter, Judy Pritchett (JR); his grandchildren, Tyra Ballard (Russell), Brandi Hurd (Robert); his great-grandchildren, Aly Phipps, Kylie Hurd, Kadie Jo Hurd; his great-great-granddaughter, Layla Phipps; and several nieces and nephews.

A Graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, December 30, 2019 at Bethel Crossroads Cemetery with Reverend Corey Martin officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Parnick Jennings funeral home on Monday prior to the service.
