Herbert Crane

Mr. Herbert "Bert" M. Crane, Jr., 85, of Cartersville died on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at his residence. Born in Cartersville, on December 5, 1933, he was the son of the late Herbert M. Crane, Sr. and the late Carolyn Field Crane.

Mr. Crane served his country in the United States Air Force. He later went on to become an attorney and the first Juvenile Court Judge in Bartow County. He was a founding member of Trinity United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth L. Crane; his daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Tracy Sigmon; his son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Virginia Crane; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Sigmon, Sam Sigmon, and Catherine Crane.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at Trinity United Methodist Church in Cartersville with Reverend Steve Lyle and Dr. Bill Britt officiating.
