Herman Lee

Mr. Herman "Hermie" Lee, 74, of White, passed away Sunday, March 9, 2014 at his residence surrounded by his family. A native of Bartow County, born February 13, 1940, he was the son of the late Joe Sterling Lee and the late Mary Hufstetler Lee.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Lee was preceded in death by his brothers, James, Willard and Billy Lee; and his sisters, Donna Mae Queen, Geneva Day and Lillie Mae Harris. Mr. Lee was of the Baptist Faith was retired from Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company. He enjoyed collecting old cars and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Bernice W. Lee of White; his son, Hugh Don Lee (Kathy) of Gainesville; his daughter, Denise Bannister (Heath) of Gainesville; his brother, Bobby Ray Lee of Cartersville; his sister, Betty Sue Mullinax of Rydal; his grandchildren, Dustin Poole, Tyler Bannister and Neil Lee; his great-grandchildren, Trenton Bannister and Holly Poole; his special dog, "Baby"; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 13, 2014 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with the Reverend Michael Matthew officiating. Interment will follow in the White City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
