Mr. Herman Eugene �Gene� Williams, age 77, died Saturday, July 17, 2010 in a Rome healthcare center.
Mr. Williams was born in Ringgold, GA on September 12, 1932 the son of the late Herman Lee Williams and Doris Acuff Williams. Mr. Williams had been a resident of Rome, GA since 1960 moving here from Ringgold, GA.
He was of the Baptist faith. Prior to retirement he was employed as a automobile salesman.
Survivors include a son, Chris Williams of Tampa, FL. and a sister, Ann Wright of Atlanta, GA.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. in the Heritage Chapel of the McGuire, Jennings & Miller Funeral Home with Bishop Danny Foster officiating. Interment will follow in the Anderson Cemetery in Ringgold, GA.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 10:00 A.M. until the funeral hour in the Heritage Chapel of the McGuire, Jennings & Miller Funeral Home.
