Mr. Homer Lee Pritchett, age 71, of Cartersville, died Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at his residence.
Born in Fulton County on August 7, 1944, he was the son of the late Roy Lee Pritchett and Marie A. Stephens Pritchett. Mr. Pritchett was active with the Shriners, enjoyed fishing, spending time with his family and friends and watching NASCAR. He also loved his animals. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Cathy Popham Pritchett and a sister, Barbara June Pritchett.
Survivors include his sons, Barry and Larry Pritchett; his daughter, Dina Edwards; his sister, Hazel Morris; his grandchildren, Heather, Bridget, Hunter, Summer, Jack, Haley, Sarah, C.J., Kevin, Joshua and Allison; his great-grandchildren, Natalie, Joshua, Jr., Caiden, Preston and Hunter; along with several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 5, 2016 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with The Reverend Larry Hufstetler officiating. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens with full Masonic Rites. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Kenny Morris, Gary Morris, Harold Roland, Terry Mundy, Doss Adcock and Johnny Ray.
